Planet Fashion has announced the return of their Sustainable Responsibility Gala at Cannes Film Festival May 19th 2025.

Last May marked the debut of the debut of the Sustainable Responsibility Gala at the Festival.

Sustainability has captured the luxury market. From home decor to dining people have become aware that their lives are positively impacted by making the sustainable choice. Fashion, which was once the biggest offender to Sustainability in many ways has now moved prominently in the direction towards Sustainability proving that luxury clothing can should all be sustainable.

Planet Fashion has taken Sustainability into Cannes Film Festival. It’s a wonderful foray into tech, fashion film and advocacy.

Last May on the fabled azure Mediterranean coastline, this new yearly event commenced on the beach with super yachts as the backdrop and the Iconic Carlton Hotel in the forefront.

In the midst of the glamour and celebrity of the Cannes Film Festival, Planet Fashion TV’s CEO, Celia Evan’s curated a Haute couture gala and awards ceremony, straight from Paris Fashion Week,  LaMetamorphose featured designs in honor of the Oceans. The textile palettes were sea colors evoking shimmering swells, fantastic froth and waves inspired by often endangered marine habitats.  Luxury gemstones from Knauf Jewels by Nathalie Knauf melded art and aspiration. Knauf jewels were paired with a show stopping evening wear collection by Laura Mancini Creative Director for Middle East Fashion Week. Mancini was also an award winner for Sustainable Artistry and Dedication to advancing Sustainable Fashion. Her collection was reminiscent of a Grace Kelly aesthetic. The event took place on the beach alongside the promenade de la Croisette. A champagne cocktail and dinner followed the show. Attendees included celebrity model Jordan Barrett.
