Meet Lottie Moss, the little sister of none other than the style icon herself, Kate Moss. She just may be the next big thing in the fashion world. She launched her modeling career at 16 when she signed with Storm Modeling Agency. Beyond that she recently graced the cover of Vogue, is creating a buzz on Instagram and is a British tabloid favorite already. She reminds of us a young Candace Bergen. We see a bright future ahead of her. We even like the name: Lottie.
Iconic model Kate Moss is at it again, designing another trendy clothing collection for high street chain store Topshop. This time around the collection features personal looks from Moss’s own style. The 55 piece collection consists of festival boho fringe to glamorous cocktail attire. One of my favorite pieces in her collection can be seen on the cover of UK Vogue April issue where Moss is photographed wearing a silver beaded short jacket.
This same style silver fringe is also made into a flapper dress as part of her collection. Other pieces in the collection include a full length white cotton and lace gown, a gold lame satin full length gown, a few black cocktail dresses, one adore with feathers, another with fringe and a third made of lace.
What girl doesn’t need that LBD for a special occasion. An emerald green one shoulder knee length dress with a tie waist sash is also part of the cocktail collection. This same model also is available in bright yellow.A few full length dresses are made with various floral and paisley patterns.
This summer look could be worn day or night. A black shorts jumper with tiny gold hearts is another stand out piece for casual day wear. I am also adding this one to my personal must buy list. A tan leather fringe jacket is a basic boho style for another who loves that care free style. This similar style also comes in a black leather fringe jacket. Back in 2007 Moss designed a collection for Topshop. Sir Phillip Green who owns Topshop and other retail chain stores says it was a welcome to have Kate Moss back at Topshop. He said, ‘the first time around was such a lot of fun and she has been sorely missed.” IN response Moss said, “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop. “I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. Now more than ever London being at the forefront of fashion, as it feels like I am back home working with Topshop.” The collection goes on sale April 30, 2014 in stores and online for Topshop as well as Nordstrom, www.nordstrom.com and www.net-a-porter.com
